Highway signs in Delenas are white with black lettering. Exit numbers are located in a blue square usually on the exit
side of the directional arrow (as shown below). If the exit is from an Exit Only lane, the exit number square will be to the
left of the blue "Exit Only" banner on the bottom of the sign (as shown above).
Each highway name is displayed inside the shape of the location's region. This is an easy way to tell when you have crossed
into another region, if you happened to miss the border sign. If it is a regional highway, the highway number is preceeded
by its region's letter code. For example, the sign above is from a regional highway in the Region of Waterford, so the route
number 6 is preceeded by a "W." For all inter-regional (national) highways, simply the route number will be displayed inside
the region outline, and will not preceeded by letters.
This sign is found in the Region of Hyannis heading towards Eleni on highway H1 near the exit for highway H5 to
Athis.
A foreigner can deduce this information by noticing the shape of the Hyannis Region on the road sign, and the name of
the highway H1. The blue numbered square informs you that exit 9 turns to the left.
This sign is found on the National Coastal Highway 1, as noted by the shape of the entire Denelas Mainland surrounding the
number 1 with no letter, also with inversed color. An exit towards Galaway regional highway GL9 turns off to the right.
The famous and scenic Highway 1 travels along the coast around the entire country. If you would like more information on touring
the National Coastal Highway 1, please contact the Delenic Center of International Travel. Information is posted on the "Contact
Us" page.
These signs are what you would see if you actually took exit number 27 (shown on the above white sign) to regional highway
GL9. The signs above with the arrows demonstrate those at an intersection crossing a regional highway. The sign below without
an arrow is like those placed along any road in Delenas to inform you that you are still travelling on that road. Notice that
the direction marker in Delenas is a compass with the traveling direction highlighted in red, unlike signs in the United States
which are actually marked with "North" and "South".
Standard Road Signs
These are some of the most common road signs seen throughout Delenas. In general, all danger signs are red and triangular
shaped. Signs indicating any sort of restriction are circular, and usually red as well. Informational signs are blue, and
square shaped.
