Cultural Gestures
Shaking hand as if just touched
something hot:
This means he/she is
hot. It can be done behind the person's back after they pass by, or to their face, but make sure they are a friend first, or at least assure that it is a flirting environment.
Tapping flattened hands together
in a T shape, top hand horizontal, bottom hand vertical, almost as a blade chop:
This means someone is always on the go.
They can't sit still.
Counting:
ALWAYS start with the thumb when counting
on your fingers. For example, to gesture number 2 to someone, for instance for desired quantity of
something in a store, hold up the thumb and index finger, not the index and middle finger. Since the thumb is always counted
whether clearly held up or not, the index and middle finger could be mistaken as 3 instead of 2.
